In October of 2025 BaxterCannon Gallery hosted a free Halloween community event! Fur babies received a complimentary pet portrait against our spooky backdrop. Pets, and the entire family, were encouraged to dress up in costume and had the opportunity to enter our Creepiest and Cutest Costume Contest for a chance to win gorgeous prize baskets from Paws on Cook and Bosleys. 35 fully loaded Goodie Bags from the Healthy Spot Pet Nutrition and Supply, (Victoria Branch) were on hand for the four legged Trick or Treaters. And a mystery prize from Harley and Me, too! Candy was available for those on 2 legs, as well. Those partaking in the event were encouraged to donate to Balfour's Friends Foundation www.balfoursfriends.com.
